A warm welcome to Fferm Ty Canol!
Dyma ni, dosbarth Derbyn. Miss Davies yw ein hathrawes ddosbarth, rydym yn ffodus iawn hefyd o dderbyn cymorth gan Miss Lloyd, Miss Griffiths a Miss Washington.
Mae 34 o ddisgyblion yn ein dosbarth ni eleni. Rydym yn edrych ymlaen at flwyddyn prysur, cyffrous ac hapus.
A warm welcome to our Reception class. Miss Davies is our class teacher, and we are also very lucky to have Miss Lloyd, Miss Griffiths and Miss Washington to support us.
There are 34 of us in the class. We are all looking forward to a year full of exciting, happy and new experiences.

Cystadleuaeth y Pasg , An Easter competition
Prynhawn da Tŷ Canol, mae hi bron yn amser Pasg ac roedd Lili eisiau gwneud boned Pasg heddiw. Roedd hi eisiau ei boned i edrych fel cyw! Rydw i a Lili wedi bod yn brysur iawn bore 'ma yn gludo, torri a lliwio i greu'r boned. Gobeithio eich bod chi yn ei hoffi!!

Good afternoon Tŷ Canol, Easter is nearly here and Lili wanted to make an Easter bonnet today. She wanted her bonnet to look like a chick! We have been busy making the chick Easter bonnet this morning with plenty of glueing, cutting and colouring in! We hope that you like it!!

Oes gennych chi fwydydd o siapiau gwahanol? Cyfrwch sawl bwyd cylch, triongl, sgwâr a phetryal sydd yn eich picnic. Oes yna fwy o siapiau gwahanol?
Good morning Tŷ Canol, what about having a lovely picnic today?
Go and get your favourite teddy and prepare a tasty picnic for you and your family to enjoy.
What different shaped foods do you have in your picnic? Count how many circles, squares, rectangles a triangles you can find. Can you find any other shapes?

Gobeithio eich bod chi'n mwynhau bod gyda'ch teuluoedd. Mae hi'n ddiwrnod braf heddiw, beth am i chi fynd i chwilio am flodau'r Gwanwyn yn eich gardd neu tu fas i'ch ty a chreu coron Gwanwyn prydferth!
I hope you're all well and enjoying your time with your family. It's a beautiful day today, what about going outside in your garden or outside your house to look for Spring flowers to create a beautiful Spring crown!

Ein Thema / Our Theme
Thema y tymor hwn yw ‘Y Peiriant Amser’.
Our theme this term is ‘The Time Machine'.
Pethau i'w cofio
Darllen - Angen dod a bag darllen i'r ysgol bob dydd.
Poteli dŵr - Rydym ni'n annog y plant i ddod â photel plastig o ddŵr wedi'i lenwi i'r ysgol bob dydd (nid sudd neu sgwash er mwyn atal pydredd dannedd)
Ffrwythau - Plis dewch â darn o ffrwyth i'w fwyta amser chwarae neu 20c yn ddyddiol i brynu darn o ffrwyth yn ein siop ffrwythau.
Snac iachus - Bydd cyfle i'ch plentyn brynu snac iachus pob dydd Gwener. Cost y snac bydd 50c yr wythnos. Fe fyddwch yn derbyn bwydlen pob hanner tymor.
Dillad coll - A wnewch chi sicrhau bod enw eich plentyn wedi'i hysgrifennu tu mewn i bob dilledyn.
Gwaith Cartref - Annogir pob plentyn i ddarllen yn rheolaidd. Yn achlysurol rhoddir darnau penodol o waith cartref megis sillafu ychwanegol, ymarferion rhifedd neu brosiectau.
Things to remember
Reading - Reading books must be returned every day.
Water bottles - Children may bring water bottles to school (already filled). No other drinks are permitted, only water.
Healthy snack - Your child will have the opportunity to purchase a healthy snack every Friday. Each snack will cost 50p a week. You will receive a menu each half term to inform you of the snacks. If you would like your child to purchase a healthy snack, please send in 50p before the Tuesday of each week.
Fruit - We are a healthy school. Please provide your child with a healthy snack to eat at break times. A piece of fruit can be bought for 20p at our fruit tuck shop.
Lost clothing - Please ensure that your child's name is clearly marked on every item of clothing.
Home work - All pupils are expected to read regularly. Additional pieces of homework may be provided by the class teacher for example spelling and numeracy exercises and occasionally thematic projects.
